art I love.

I don’t know why. I mean, I’m sure I could explain it. The colorways, the attention to detail, the skillset and talent of the artist, the subject matter I resonate with, the emotional response, etc. I could explain it, but good art is just a feeling you get.

The best thing, is it shows up everywhere… like a landscaping truck on the Big Island of Hawaii.

Mother Earth Father Time Tree Service. So damn cool.

When you just stumble upon it and it HITS. Ugh. Fire me up.

All you can do is be thankful it exists.

Like National Parks. I’m so grateful National Parks exist. Endless protected beauty and adventure to be had. The artwork for these parks are just *chefs kiss. Bless their hearts.

And comic books. I am so thankful comic books exist. Preacher, Invincible, The Boys, Batman - just to name a few are some of the best stories and accompanied artworks I’ve ever been lucky enough to take in.

Let’s not forget graphic designers like Brosmind, Victor Moscoso, Jeremyville, and Lauren Martin. This is the kind of art I aspire to make. Vibrant, creative, and weird that conveys a message that resonates.

Don’t get me started on natural beauty artworks. Throw in a little bit of romanticism, surrealism, and heaps of imagination and vibrancy. SUBLIME! Here are some pieces from Teshia, Albert Bierstadt, Mark Maggiori, Larry Eifert, Robert Bateman, and James Coleman that butter my biscuit.

If I ever hit the lottery, I won’t tell anyone but there will be signs. A nice house in Hawaii littered with the works above. Wall to wall priceless art. I’d probably have hair again too.
